Lufthansa and Neste Oil announce results of renewable
jet fuel trial
A 20-30% rise in jet fuel costs would see Air Arabia increase its ticket prices

Neste Oil and Lufthansa have released the results of a 6-month trial of Neste Oil's NExBTL, which the company's executive VP Matti Lehmus described as an 'exceptionally interesting joint project'.

During the trial Lufthansa studied issues including fuel quality, aircraft performance and fuel storability, and concluded the renewable jet fuel had no negative impact on the aircraft or engines.

New fuel farm approved for airport
In Georgia, US, construction of a new fuel farm is soon to get underway at the Polk County Airport after its board of commissioners approved a $322,299.98 (€246,470) bid from Cobb Environmental & Technical Services.
